Barnett Home Decor is a family-owned, family-operated, women-led manufacturer of hand-crafted latex foam cushions and textile home goods, located in Macon, Georgia. Established in 1889 by a harness-maker, we were initially known for the quality of our cotton collar pads. After WWII, we started making latex foam-filled dining chair pads and rocking chair cushions.

What makes our products unique? We use premium latex foam fill that won't go flat, with lock-stitched seams and triple-stitched ties. To uphold our obligation to the next generation, we utilize recycled and sustainable materials. All of our dining chair cushions are hand-crafted by skilled sewers, with no automation or cutting corners.

Our Triple-Stitched Ties won't easily pop off when you scoot your seat, unlike many competitors. The cushions are machine washable, allowing you to refresh the fabric and foam by washing the chair cushion. The Lock-Stitched Seams are more durable than the chain-stitch seams used by many competitors on their chair pads.

We select and test our fabrics to withstand years of daily use on your furniture, with a durability rating of 15,000-55,000 double rubs. The reversible cushions last twice as long as gripper cushions, and you can use a gripper shelf liner to get all the benefits with none of the downsides.

Why do we love what we do? We're proud to uphold the legacy of American manufacturing and to support 30 families in Macon, Georgia, with worker safety, fair wages, and reasonable hours. We do not outsource any part of the manufacturing process; every step occurs at our historic factory in Macon, Georgia, USA.

Our company is woman-owned and family-operated, and all of our home goods are shipped in new, unused condition, direct from the manufacturer. We recruit some of our workforce from disadvantaged groups with the help of local not-for-profits, and our workers are paid fair wages in a safe working environment.

We do not include unnecessary plastic or styrofoam in our packing materials, and our latex foam fill is a pre-consumer recycled material. Cushions that last many years are more sustainable than cushions that need to be replaced often, for the planet and for your pocket book.

To ensure the best fit, we recommend measuring your rocking chair or glider before ordering our cushions. The seat width, seat depth, back width, and back length should be measured, as our cushions are tapered for a custom fit. Please allow time for the latex foam to expand after shipping, and break in the cushions by sitting on them.
